Water is elixir of life and the most important element required for the survival of humans. It is imperative that we drink plenty of water and keep our bodies hydrated all the time. It is even better if you opt for bottled water as it is pure and free from any sort of harmful chemicals.

If you do not consume enough water, all the functions of your body can get affected in a negative manner. Read on to know about some great tips that can help you drink more water and keep your body replenished all the time.

  • You must consume a glass of water every morning as soon as you wake up. Our body experiences fluid loss during the night and therefore it is important to replace it. Drinking water first thing in the morning will make you feel fresh as your body gets hydrated. There are many companies in Texas that supply pure bottled water and you must buy one of these to get the freshest water for your body.
  • You can easily check whether your body is dehydrated during the day. If the color of your urine is very dark, it means your body does not have enough water. Therefore, make it a point to drink more water and hydrate your body immediately. Drinking spring water would be the best option as it is clean and tastes good too.
  • You do not have to drink plain water all the time. It can be flavored with sliced citrus fruits such as lemon, orange or other ones like mango, grapes and pineapple etc. Make sure that the added flavors are natural as artificial flavors contain a lot of added sugar and are not healthy for our body.
  • In order to stay hydrated, keep a bottle of spring water with you all the time. Depending on how much you weigh, you should decide your own hydration needs and drink the requisite amount of water during the day.
  • If you want to increase your intake of water, stay away from sodas and coffee. It is a well-known fact that cold drinks and artificially flavored juices are very unhealthy for the body. But what many of us don’t know is that they can even dehydrate the human body. Therefore, whenever you feel thirsty, don’t opt for anything else but water.
  • Last but not the least; drink at least three gulps of water before every meal. Most of us tend to confuse thirst with hunger. But you must drink water first and then decide later on if you are really hungry or not.
